Scrap Metal Drive Troop 119

Troop 119, Ellettsville is searching for scrap metal to help raise funds to help with costs for troop activities throughout the year. We take all kinds of metal including, old stoves, washers/dryers, tools, scrap iron, old cars, cans, box springs, old metal tools and old implements.

You get a cleaned-up barn, yard or storage area. We get funds to make our activites more affordable for our boys. We will come to you. Just let us know and it will go! Or you can drop it off at Hoosier Family Eye Care Center in Ellettsville from 4/24 to 4/28.

Monroe County CASA Gala Committee Kickoff Events – Volunteers Needed!

This year marks the 35th anniversary of Monroe County CASA advocating for children in Monroe County, and we need your help to plan the celebration! Do you like planning parties? Do you have a knack for collecting unique and exciting items for a silent auction? Or do you have other special talents that would be beneficial to a nonprofit’s gala planning efforts? Join us on March 21st at 12 p.m. or March 26th at 5:30 p.m. for one of our gala committee kickoff events! Stop in to the CASA office (201 N. Morton St.) during either time to learn about how you can get involved.

CASA is a volunteer-powered program that provides representation in juvenile court for child victims of abuse and neglect.  They provide support to these children to ensure that they remain at the forefront of the court proceedings and find a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible.  To learn more about how you can give a child a voice, please visit www.monroecountycasa.org/volunteer or call 812-333-CASA.
