Girls Inc. Annual Flower Sale

It’s that time of year again! The weather is getting warmer, days are getting longer, and it’s time to support the girls of Monroe County.

Now more than ever it's important that we support our community. Your donations and flower sale purchases help us to provide vital educational programs and organized sports leagues this fall to help girls in our community develop the values and skills they need to become confident, productive, and successful adults.

Hall’s Greenhouse is once again partnering with us to provide gorgeous flower pots and hanging baskets. All plants are locally-grown and perfect for your garden or as gifts for the mother in your life.

In doing our part to flatten the curve during the pandemic, flowers will be available for curbside pick-up or delivery only.  Pick-ups will be available on Friday, May 8th from 4 pm to 7 pm and Saturday, May 9th from 9 am to 12 pm. You may also choose to have your flowers delivered to your doorstep for a $5 fee.

The Crestmont Community Food & Supplies Drive

There is a concentrated effort to bring much-needed groceries and supplies to Boys & Girls Club member families living in the Crestmont Community. Nearly 60 families have already benefited from this initiative, and the efforts have now even expanded to serve Lincoln Street Club families in need!
Drop-offs are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Ferguson Crestmont Club (1111 W. 12th Street).
Deliveries will be made to families in-need every Friday.

If you would like to help, the online list of needs and a signup sheet are available at

Fabric Face Mask Drive

The Bloomington Indiana Fabric Face Mask Drive is a community effort from the Bloomington Quilter's Guild, Bloomington Mutual-Aid, All-In Pediatrics, Patient PT, and Volunteers like YOU to supply those who need them most with fabric face masks during the COVID-19 outbreak.

There is no need to purchase new materials as there is a large supply of donated materials, the ability to bulk purchase, and funding to pay for more!
Pick up for materials and drop-off for completed masks will take place at Allison-Jukebox Community Center at 349 S. Washington Street, rear parking area

For those interested in participating as a volunteer to make masks, volunteering a sewing machine, or any other non-monetary assistance, please register here.
